Out and about in Tokyo1

A quick update from Tokyo, where we are based this week. We have been all over the city, doing project preparations and meeting people. As always, Tokyo is an inspiring place and truly one of the greatest cities in the world.

For consumer research and technology insights, Tokyo is a special phenomenon and sometimes seems to operate on a completely different level than the rest of the globe. That being said, it is important to avoid the generalizations and cliches often portrayed in foreign media – don’t expect to read anything here about Harajuku fashion or over-worked salarymen. Well, never say never, especially in the case of 東京.

Few more busy days in Tokyo before heading to Shanghai, another fantastic city.
